Kerry Machine to Roll Over Ross

3pts at Evens Kerry to score over 16.5pts vs Roscommon (Boylesports)

A high scoring game is expected with relegation a real possibility for the loser. To date Roscommon have conceded 18pts to Tyrone, 16pts against Donegal and 1-19 against Mayo. The fact Mayo scored 1-19 while still kicking 15 wides just shows how much time and space they allow. Kerry shot the lights out against Donegal in round 1 scoring 2-17, how we would love for that to happen again! They played brilliant in the first 35mins against Mayo, created 4 excellent goal scoring chances but never turned up in the second half. Eventually they finished with 1-10 which they could not better against Monaghan either. They are still creating goal chances though and with Roscommon offering up opportunities we like Kerrys forward division to blossom in this.

Their team has been named, and having Donnacha Walsh back from suspension is a boost. Their full forward line of Barry John Keane, James O'Donoghue and Paul Geaney oozes quality and would put the fear of God into any full back line! Anthony Maher is named on the bench which is also a plus, as Roscommon are weak at midfield and if Kerry can get on top around the middle of the park early, the scoring opportunities will arrive! Last time these two sides met Kerry scored 3-15 and something similar would be nice.

1.5pts at 11/10 Under 1.5gls Tyrone vs Monaghan (Bet365)

Nothing like an all Ulster affair, played in wet and wild spring conditions to wet the appetite! Healy Park in Omagh was deemed unplayable last weekend, with a very late call from the referee to call off the match. How much the pitch will have improved in the space on 6 days is questionable, considering all the rain we have had since. We hope it gets the all clear which would help our selection of under 1.5gls. We all know both teams play defensive football and I'm sure Micky Harte will have been working all week on a system to shut down Monaghan's forwards.

Going back through their previous meetings goals have always been hard come by. In 2013 it finished 0-14 to 0-12 to Tyrone while in 2014 it finished 1-12 to 0-14 to Monaghan. They met twice in 2015 with the league meeting resulting in a Monaghan win 1-13 to 0-9 but Tyrone gained revenge in the championship with a 0-18 to 0-14 win. Interesting to see that Tyrone failed to score a single goal in all those matches.

To their credit Monaghan have been impressive so far in the league but the likes of McManus and Co will be tightly watched tonight. We expect the meeting to be a tight battle and the wet and wilder it is the better!
